I am already switching my days with you on Homeschooling Belle. Today was supposed to be the, Theme Nights from Around the World, study and we are currently so engrossed on our Sicilian studies, it's taking longer because we're having so much fun. From homemade pasta, to learning their language, (not so easy!) to creating a volcano, I can't can't wait to share with you what we've been working on. So needless to say we need an extra day!
For today, I am going to do my book review on these wonderful books for teens I've read titled, Do Hard Things and Start Here. It's all about challenging teens to raise their expectations and realize they were made to do big things. These two brothers are Alex and Brett Harris, homeschooled boys who make this a passion of theirs to challenge a teenage rebellion against low expectations.
An inspiring read that will make you never want to settle for being comfortable ever again. It will be a good book read not just for teens but for the whole family!
One advantage of having our children home with us is being able to be their primary influence. Get this book for you and your teen. It will challenge them and inspire them to seek out what God is calling them to do... to Do Hard Things.
Watch this video on one of their conferences about their book. They're amazing! Let me know what you think... I'd love to discuss!
