I am a homeschooling mama of seven amazing children. It is fun, hard, frustrating, messy, exciting and blissful all the time but wouldn't have it any other way.
I grew up in a Christian home and was saved when I was seven years old. I remember it like it was yesterday; along with the scripture my mom had me write to help remember the special day.

It is my mission as a Christian mother to teach my children about Jesus and how He is the Way the Truth and the Light and to come to know God as their personal savior.
This blog is all about our unschooling journey, a parenting journey that is based on scripture, and non-traditional. What do I mean by not traditional? It isn't mainstream; and you'll see what I mean throughout my blog. I hope to inspire you to slow down, to listen to your kids more, lesson the reigns of control a little less, and enjoy your children to the fullest.
We own a lawn and landscape business, I love to blog about food, unschooling, and being organized and as a family we love camping and learning together in the world and at home.
